Cashew Nuts are an edible kidney shaped nuts.It is rich in oil and protein.Cashews are roasted and shelled before it can be eaten.Oil from the shell is used as a lubricant.Cashew tree is a tropical American tree grown for phenolic oil.Cashew tree produces nut and cashew apple.It have milky juice,simple , leathery leaves and yellowish pink flowers.It is use in many recipes and processed to get cashew cheese.100 gm of cashews having 553 calories and in oil roasted cashew contain 580 calories.
